Also, we got to see some of the adorable Highland Cows up close. I skipped the school house and it's stern schoolmaster.

Today was full of adventure. We went to the Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore. They have recreations and preserved buildings from 1700's and represents living styles much older than that. Once they know you are American they first offer sympathy for the tragedy in Las Vegas and then cherry guesses that you are an Outlander fan. Sadly, they report that neither Jaime or Claire are there that day. There is, however, a helpful docent dressed in period clothing in the area where Outlander was filmed. They did the Rent episode village scenes there including the wool pulling and Jaime having his shirt ripped off to encourage donations for the Jacobite uprising.
Also, we got to see some of the adorable Highland Cows up close. I skipped the school house and it's stern schoolmaster.
